Welcome to Furtopia Community Forums!

Furtopia is a community of furs helping furs. Furtopia Community Forums was created as a place to give furs who wish to create a furry community a web home that is fast, furry, efficient, and spam (yahoo groups)/add free.

Examples: A fur from Idaho could create a group called "Furry Idaho" as a gathering point for other furs in his/her area to socialize/discuss issues relevant to Idaho Furs. The creator would get the domain name: http://forums.idahofurs.furtopia.org and become administrator of his/her group. Note: No copyrighted group/name will be accepted. Example: Dayton Furs, and Ohio Furs are already active and taken groups. We help those who need help. We do not replace. ;) An abandoned group my be restarted on Furtopia provided you have rights to do so.

Any fur may run and create a community forum. But all admins will be responsible for maintaining their forums and making sure they comply with Furtopia rules at all times.

Below are the rules as forum admin must maintain:

1. All forums must have their mission and rules posted in the FIRST message thread. These will be pinned at the top by Furtopia staff.

2. All forums will remain in subject content no greater then pg-13. If there is artistic value or merit to the furry community an adult group may be created, but permission must be granted by staff (e-mail: admin@furtopia.org).

3. Admins will be allowed to administer their forums. If necessary a Furtopia staff can step in if a situation is causing a problem with others or other forums.

4. Admins must show responsibility when dealing with their members/posters. When dealing with problems we request you always keep a civil tongue. Admins may delete any message in their group. They may also request staff to ban or warn a member (Furtopia staff will take action on investigation according to Furtopia rules).

5. All forums must be a "service" to the "furry" community. Example: Forum "Furry Idaho" would be a forum/message base serving the furry Idaho Community. Forum: "This is my cool forum because I'm so cool." is um, better left for another service.

6. Furtopia staff reserves the right to remove any forum for inactivity (3 months), unless arrangements have been made with staff before hand.

7. Admin and his/her forum members will comply with all Furtopia forum rules: http://rules.forums.furtopia.org (Note: Rule 1.f also applies to Furtopia Community Forums).

8. Use of the Furtopia facilities is a privilege and not a right. Furtopia staff may remove any forum or member (by vote, according to Furtopia rules) they deem disruptive or a problem.

9. Ok, below is the application form for getting a Message/Board Forum at Furtopia/Dragoncity. The form MUST be filled out completely and then hit the submit button. Please wait up to 3 business days for your application to be processed. Your account information will be e-mailed to you. If you do not get a response or have any problems please e-mail us. :)

Note: Netscape 6 users.  For reasons of it's own Netscape 6 sometimes deletes the content of the form before sending it.  If you are running Netscape 6 just manually send us an e-mail with the completed questions.  If we get a blank application we will reply back requesting the questions be manually e-mailed to us.
